JazzDanceForChildren + TangerineImpz vs. RAKninja + Crash2991 was a Youtube Poop/Video Tennis Doubles match played as a part of the Tennis Season, taking place between August 18 and August 24, 2009. It was part of the Week 5 lineup which consisted of 4 round League-style Doubles matches, and represented the team match-up of The Pachinko Warriors vs. Incredible Laser Sword. The lineup was already greatly anticipated in advance as the former team were considered to be worthy adversaries to the latter, with some knowing that a quality match was sure to result. JazzDanceForChildren and TangerineImpz had previously collaborated together as a power duo in the Doubles Cup 1, and this would be the only match in which RAKninja and Crash2991 would collaborate. It was also the third match that Crash2991 played following a pivot back to using Windows Movie Maker as his editor of choice.

For this match, RAKninja and Crash2991 both activated their respective player abilities; Crash2991 activated "Forever Wild", which introduced Wildcard Tennis rules into the match, and RAKninja activated "Wildcard Permenence", to make the first restriction used last for all four rounds. This restriction was "No distortion of the source. You can distort the COLOR, but no mirror, deform, etc etc.". The match as a result became very driven by the sources that were used and added into it, and all players indulged in sources that were signatures to them. Old anime dominates the overall source pool, with Gundam Wing, Voltes V, GaoGaiGar, Tenchi Muyo, Lupin III: The Mystery of Mamo(1978), Golden Boy, Dragonball Z, Speed Racer and M.D. Geist("BRAIN PALACE") all making notable appearances. Also appearing in the match was a commercial for Edgar Snyder & Associates(an accident firm local to the state of Pennsylvania, likely TangerineImpz's addition), Toei Spider-Man, Rambo: The Force of Freedom, The Dukes of Hazzard, Quest for Camelot (1998), Coonskin (1975), The Magic School Bus, Meet The Scout, the music video for "Express Yourself" by N.W.A., the "Port Town" and "Big Blue" themes from the F-Zero (1990) OST, the song "Ice Dance" from the Edward Scissorhands (1990) OST, the Chisa Yokoyama song "Renainosainou(CORAL MIX)" (1994), and "Rocky Just Wants To Have Fun" from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the latter of which was elicited out of The Pachinko Warriors as their restriction for Round 3. The Pachinko Warriors would achieve their greatest and most admirable victory in the season with this match, beating Incredible Laser Sword with 9 votes to 3.

It was the tenth match played by JazzDanceForChildren[1], the fifth known match played by TangerineImpz[2], the 22nd match played by RAKninja[3] and the 15th match played by Crash2991[4]. Hailed instantly upon its completion by both its participants and outside viewers such as Moogle, RabbitSnore and Emperor Ing, it remained an old cult favorite match of the older members of the tennis staff for years afterward and slowly acquired a reputation as being one of the best doubles tennis matches of all time. Much of the praise is directed at the match's first round, "GOING TO EDGAR SNYDER'S PACHINKO BRAIN PALACE", considered to be the single best round of the entire match and the round that set the mood and the tone for the rounds that were to follow. The match eventually found its way into the Tennis Staff Multiway, being referenced to and sparingly used in dani_phantump's Round 18 due to dani_phantump having long considered it a personal favorite.

The match is the only surviving evidence of TangerineImpz's brief tennis run due following the 2015 deletion of his account due to JazzDanceForChildren uploading his own copies of their rounds of the match. Up until Crash2991's videography was uploaded to Archive.org in December 2019, it was also the only publicly viewable evidence of him as a player on YouTube after privating his videos in 2011 due to RAKninja uploading his own copies of their rounds as well(the titling conventions of RAK and Crash can additionally be told apart easily, as Round 2 is one of two tennis videos on RAK's channel to not be in all caps; his other was a collab round with Moogle from the Doubles Cup 1). It was compiled for the first time into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account (back when it used the name "maniafax") in November 2019.

  1. While Jazz never made a roster, the Tennis: Completed subforums on YouChew show him as having played TyrannosaurusReich, ELPSteel, MelvanaInChains, TyrannosaurusReich(rematch), InsinerateHymn, saba0th, MrGenericMan/BMATF + zacheatscrackers, Erarg + XBR4D3NX, and almightyseancore in that order before this match.
  2. TangerineImpz also never made a roster due to the infrequency at which he played normal matches; his games with SeductiveBaz, MrGenericMan/BMATF + zacheatscrackers, Erarg + XBR4D3NX and TheRoboticRobot are his only non-chain tennis games recorded on the YouChew forums before this match. Any evidence of matches played only on YouTube are lost due to the deletion of his account in 2015.

  4. https://ftlfw.net/archives/websites/youchew.net/archive/forum/16-poop-tennis/30906-poop-tennis-roster-thread/1#post-934751 Crash's roster can be incredibly confusing when navigating the chronology of his later matches, as many matches are either listed out of order or not listed at all. His match chronology goes Gallers, scimath12, sonicmstr, Luioigi, NS2, RAKninja, strong414bad, uncle69er, FourTwoNineStudios, Temeku (never listed), HighVoltageChrist, RetroTheRaccoon, RabbitSnore, quax94 and then this match.
