Tennis Cup 4

Tennis Cup 4 or TC4 was a Youtube Poop Tennis Tournament hosted by AshcrementVII and trepmaws from March to October of 2012. It is the fourth Tennis Tournament of the standard cup format, and the 11th overall. The Tournament marked a brief period of renaissance for tennis as it saw the return of many players that had been inactive for long periods of time, which helped to further signify the tournament being a return to a more classic style of competition. The eventual winner was CorruptionSound.

It is the first tournament to feature Foghorn Scorpio, Bloodis, Cheedle, theFXexpert, djninjalovemistake and StickerBoyTheNextGen, and the last tournament to feature superkoffee, sanemurzu, Luioigi, BMATF, Combuskenisawesome, and GreatBritishTurd, the latter whom made a surprising comeback to competitive tennis after a 4-year gap from the first Tennis Cup. It is also the only tournament to feature Diosbabilonia, Mackenzie, Smonge, uwilmod, smokutusofborg, Superchops, FullCap, and Silverstreak, with two of these players playing their one and only ever tennis match. This was the second of four tennis tournaments to use the voting account "Gendo Ikari", in reference to the character from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Initially, it was expected that the tennis competition to follow the Doubles Cup 2 would be the then-postponed Triples Tennis Tournament, originally intended to commence in the summer of 2011 before its official thread was overtaken by arguments and controversy. The announcement of the Tennis Cup 4 came to a surprise to some; According to the official thread it was unanimously decided between staff members ChrisGendo, AshcrementVII and trepmaws to further hold off the tournament until the fall, and this competition would be established as a way to make up for the time gap. The Triples Tennis Tournament would actually take another full year to properly commence.
