3-Way Tennis Tournament

The 3-Way Tennis Tournament or 3WTT was a YTP Tennis Tournament hosted by MycroProcessor on the YouChew forums that began in May 2010 and ceased in activity in February 2011, with its final match stagnating at Round 5 and no winner being decided. Despite this, it has been hailed as one of the greatest and most prolific tournaments of the lengthy YouChew forums era due to the incredible diversity witnessed between the total players that participated throughout its run and the large amount of memorable matches that rose up out of it. It is also thanks to the efforts of BSP666c/Sploltoen one of the earliest most well-preserved tournaments. It was however at the time the least publicized tournament on the YouChew Forums, the first in a subsequent series of many to not have an article written about it by the News/Writing Staff. It was the ninth tennis tournament overall. The voting account used for this tournament was "Jolteon", although MycroProcessor collected votes and announced results from his main account in the tournament's first set.

It is the first tennis competition to see participation from Sploltoen, CorruptionSound, NESfanboi, superkoffee and Kurkop, and the last tennis competition to feature KlausTheWizard, JackTron7000, Fiddlesticks411, Futures Passed, JakeSteel, wwefan3333, ThaNuke, Moogle, vvaluigi, DaftPunkYoshi, Piodx, XBR4D3NX, magmalord and AmiralMachin. It is also the only competition to feature Metzgorrre, Bunsbuns11, evilskittlemonster, Funacceptable, SynaMax, ifhgsfj, PokeFire50, and LieutenantGwo. RAKninja would not play another tournament until the Triples Tennis Tournament in 2013, and Template:SergeantBacon would not participate in another tournament until the Doubles Cup 3 in 2017.

A sequel, the 3-Way Tennis Tournament 2, was played from 2024-2025.

3WTT was a rather unique tournament as the closest thing to it happening again was MWTT. The matches in 3WTT were all 3-way games; 9 rounds, each player volleying three times in the format ABCABCABC.

Depending on the divisibility situation, varying numbers of players were eliminated each time. You didn't always have to "win" to move on.

For parity reasons, sets 2 and 3 were split up.

superkoffee replaced GameBop in this match only for Round 7. The Round 7 that GameBop had originally intended to finish for this match was later used as Round 1 for GameBop vs. MycroProcessor vs. BSP666c/Sploltoen for the Multi-Way Tennis Tournament.

Originally set to be JackTron7000 vs. wwefan3333 vs. XBR4D3NX before wwefan3333 dropped out. PokeFire50 replaced JackTron7000 in this match only for Round 4. LieutenantGwo replaced XBR4D3NX in this match only for Round 9.

JakeSteel vs. Sploltoen vs. Kurkop

Originally set to be JakeSteel vs. BSP666c vs. trepmaws until trepmaws dropped out. JakeSteel was replaced by SynaMax for this match only for Round 4, who was subsequently replaced by SergeantBacon only for Round 7. Due to the amount of replacements and lateness of rounds not made by Sploltoen, this match gained the informal title of "everyone vs. BSP666c vs. Kurkop".

Moogle won the Bracket A match of Set 3, leaving them free to rest for the duration of Set 4.
