The tournament was plagued with internal issues of the then-current era of tennis staff, but was somehow able to make it through and finish successfully, and is 100% archived in the present day. It is notable for also having a replacement, LaVie CestLol, controversially joining very late and winning the whole tournament, despite playing for only three sets. It was the first tennis competition to feature Sid1325/Meiod, fiv95, NITROCONCRETE1, LaVieCestLol and valkiriforce, the final competition to feature CreepahWeegie,  TheRazorEdge({{VerityLarsen}}), eletricalmonkss, Bloodis, and sanemurzu, and the only competition to feature JowlHog4, MaggedRat/HollowTheGuy, 3tp and plasticfishtank.

The Multi-Way Tennis Tournament, or MWTT, was a Youtube Poop Tennis Tournament hosted on the YouChew forums by an revolving assortment of hosts starting with dani_phantump, the original creator/organizer, then switching over to GameBop, before finally being managed to its finish by a joint effort between trepmaws and Sid from September 2013 to October 2014. It is the longest running tournament that has ever taken place, with the shortest duration of time (14 hours) between the start of this tournament and the end of the previous one. 10 of its 18 original participants would replaced more than one time throughout its run with a total of 14 additional participants, currently the most ever. The primary concept focused around the idea of a Multi-Way Match, expanding upon the 3-Way Tennis Tournament to feature matches of up to 6 players at one time.

It was the first tennis competition to feature Sid, fiv95, NITROCONCRETE1, LaVieCestLol and valkiriforce, the final competition to feature CreepahWeegie, vel 17, eletricalmonkss, Bloodis, and sanemurzu, and the only competition to feature JowlHog4, MaggedRat/HollowTheGuy, 3tp and plasticfishtank.

Layout

The layout of MWTT was rather unique. Each set had 3 matches each - Yellow, Teal and Purple (which spelled out YTP!) - with a varying number of people. There were three rotations per set, where everyone would go in a row (just like a regular multi way). At the end, voters picked who did the best out of each group. The person who had the lowest score for each set was eliminated. The groups were then shuffled and the next set began.

This process went on until each group had only one player left. At this point, the final match was a 9 way match between these 3 players. The person who got the highest score in this set won!
