The 80's Musical Chairs Tournament was an unofficial tennis tournament held in 2014, hosted initially by DiscoGlacier, then by LordSmeargle, who also ended up being the winner. Unlike many other tournaments, the 80's Musical Chairs Tournament only had one match where players where eliminated after specific rotations, rather than entire matches.
While initially consisting of twelve players, only ten would actually participate in the first rotation. This number slowly whittled down over four rotations, with players more often than not being disqualified for extraneous reasons than actually being eliminated (Crazy Luigi and fiv95 being the only two actually eliminated.)

Layout
The match played similarly to a Multi-Way Match, where one rotation would go through every player. At this point, a "judge" would decide what players would stay and which would go.
The rules went as follows:
- Participants will only be able to use sources from the 80's (exceptions being media generators and generic noises like censor bleeps).
- Rounds must be at least 50 seconds long.
Participants will be eliminated one-by-one until only one - the winner - is left. They can be disqualified if:
- They take longer than a week to make a round.
- They don't follow the above rules.
- All remaining participants have gone at least once without anyone having been disqualified, and are declared the weakest round of this cycle by the tournament judge.
- They forfeit (which, in this case, their place will be moved right before the current participants).[1]
