It was the 43rd match played by GameBop and the 30th match played by piodx. Over the course of this match, piodx opted for the style that had served him best up to this point - a loud, fast blast of intense editing and cutting-edge effects for the time with ''Happy Tree Friends'' serving as his signature base for every one of his responses. However, as {{MycroProcessor}} wrote his regular feedback for every round published as the match took place, of recurring note was the fact that the previous round was only barely to not recognizable in piodx's Round 3 and 5 due to the heaviness of his editing<ref>https://ftlfw.net/archives/websites/youchew.net/archive/forum/31-completed-games/67042-piodx-vs-gamebop-done-vote/1</ref>. {{GameBop}}, by comparison, was able to clearly show the previous round in all three of their responses without losing any momentum in the intense pace established from the serve onward, and was in fact able to take the match to new heights with each of their signature dissective responses to piodx's output. Their final round of the match in particular is remembered for achieving the best of both of these worlds - a response that clearly showed evidence of and progression upon the previous round while being one of GameBop's most visually impressive videos made to date, though GameBop themselves was critical of the video's compression resulting in less-than-optimal pixelaton. This round became the subject of "Puzzle Pieces 0", the first in their own series of "Puzzle Pieces" type videos used to show the individually rendered segments that were used to arrive at the final product.

GameBop became the winner of this match and the Grey Tennis Tournament itself, defeating piodx with 7 votes to 5. This would be the farthest position that piodx would ever reach in any tennis tournament. It was the first of three tournaments GameBop would win over their long tennis career, but the only one of which was a solo win.
