Crash2991 vs. RAKninja was a Youtube Poop Tennis match that took place between April 11 and April 22, 2008. It was one of a series of matches played during the Spring and Summer of 2008 that saw the consolidation of the first generation of tennis staff as players, friends and community presences. These matches include theHappyFungus vs. RabbitSnore, theHappyFungus vs. RAKninja, theHappyFungus vs. Nuthead, Crash2991 vs. NS2, Crash2991 vs. strong414bad, RabbitSnore vs. Nuthead, theHappyFungus vs. NS2, and Nuthead vs. NS2. The match is noted for the above average choices in sources used for the time, with RabbitSnore remarking that both players had "excellent taste in material"[1]. Among the sources used include the anime Sgt. Frog, Outlaw Star, Puni Puni Poemy, Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers 2010, Dragon Ball and Golden Boy, and the miscellaneous material Melty Blood(PC, 2002), Ren and Stimpy, RoboCop(1987), Black Samurai(1977), The Transformers(G1), a Godzilla film, and a sequence of the Swedish Chef from The Muppet Show "raving"[2] to a different song in all 6 rounds. As another rarity of the time, some of this material was home ripped from collections owned in particular by RAK himself.
It was the sixth match played by Crash2991[3][4] and the third match played by RAKninja[5][6]. Originally only half viewable for many years, the missing rounds were identified on Archive.org and the full match was recompiled into a single video on what later became the YouWouldBeWelcome account (at the time called "maniafax") in late 2019.
