While many references to Youtube Poop have surfaced in modern meme culture and beyond, the influence of Tennis has been much more subtle (but still there)!

Most tennis-related material finds its way into the mainstream through meme culture. This makes sense as the two are often intertwined.
F25 Key
The "F25 key" meme is one of many layers of niche complexity. The original "F25 Key" video is sourced from "Pick a Winner" (2004)[1] by the art collective Paper Rad. It is currently unknown if this was made specifically for the video or was sampled from elsewhere. Specifically sampled for the meme is the opening segment, where a girl hits a supposed "F25 key" on her keyboard. While this may seem like an arbitrary number today, there were many examples in the 70's and 80's of computers with 24 function keys, for example the 122-key Model F Keyboard variant that came with the IBM 5271/"3270 PC". [2] Ironically, the keyboard shown in the video only has twelve function keys.
After this initial sequence, the meme cuts to the entirety of round 5 of Sploltoen vs. Piodx. Sploltoen retroactively changed the title of their round to reflect the sudden burst of popularity the video was getting. Around this time other unofficial "full F25" videos and playlists appeared that would add other tennis rounds, Sploltoen's in particular, to create much longer seizure-fests.
This video existed for some time before another variant of it appeared on sites like discord that had its metadata tampered with. As a result, while the audio played just fine the video was stretched to be over 200 hours long. The sheer absurdity of this video, as well as all the other pieces that brought it to this point, caused it to spread around the internet like wildfire. At nearly 3 million views, it can be in some perspectives can be considered the most viewed round of all time.

JPEGMAFIA sampling GameBop
One of GameBop's rounds for their Chain 5 appeared in the music video JPEGMAFIA's "Hamm Sandwich":
The general theory is that JPEGMAFIA was looking for footage of TV Static, of which GameBop has a relatively popular upload of. From there he would have found the rest of their works, and decided to sample some of them.
