The Tennis Isles was first created in September 13, 2019 by nm41, VidTens443, and java in hopes of easier communication among the tennis community and to organize tennis events, in which the server was created days before the start of Tennis League 5.
In September 2023, a verification system was put into place to vet out bots and other potentially unwanted accounts. Users are asked to prove their existence (or the player they claim to be), usually by sharing their YouTube account.
