Emperor Ing vs. RAKninja is a YouTube Poop Tennis match that took place between April 1 and May 6, 2009. Known by its Emperor Ing-bestowed title of "RED WIZARD RONDO: BATTLE FOR THE NINJA EMPIRE" and more simply "RED WIZARD RONDO", it was the 6th match to be completed by Ing and the 14th match to be completed by RAKninja, and one of the matches that helped to firmly establish Ing as being considered an unofficial member of the tennis staff.
With both players having many overlapping tastes in media, this match serves to fully explore and indulge in their intersecting love of Godfrey Ho's "Ninja" filmography (making this the earliest match to be themed around the films) and 70s/80s animated science fiction/fantasy. The match's introductory stage is unique; While being advertised as 8 rounds long, the videos listed as Rounds 1 and 2 are actually both a distinct "serve" made by each player to set the stage for the match's recurring themes, each focusing on a source with a different "red wizard". In Emperor Ing's video, "Red Wizard Rondo: ManSaru's Calamity", he focuses on Saruman The White from Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings(1978), who in this adaptation is infamously clad all in red despite his name; Ing refers to him throughout this match with the full title of "ManSaru of Many Colors". In RAKninja's video, "RED WIZARD RONDO: MARA AL UTHA'S CATACLYSM", he focuses on The Transformers(G1) Season 3 episode "Madman's Paradise"(1986), the focus of which is a mysterious sorcerer in another dimension known as Mara-Al-Utha, who directly refers to himself as The Red Wizard. Both of these videos are edited by Ing to create the match's official "serve", which is also respectively referred to as Round 3 of the full series of videos. With these acting as the match's central pieces, other sources added include the Godfrey Ho films Rage of a Ninja(1988), Ninja Squad(1986), Ninja Commandments(1987), and the Don Kong film Silver Dragon Ninja(1987).
RAKninja's notoriously glitchy and corrupted final two rounds are the product of him switching video downloaders mid match, resulting in substantial artifacting that served to function as an additional editing response to Ing's rounds during the second half. While the full match has never received much attention, it was greatly enjoyed between its two participants and is considered something of a hidden gem; strong414bad at the match's conclusion praised it as "truly a match to be remembered for the ages". In 2013, strong414bad would upload his last ever video, a second round of the Tennis Staff Multi Way, in which the thumbnail for RAKninja's "RED WIZARD RONDO: NINJA POWER KILLED LILLY" would make a small cameo appearance towards the end. The full match was compiled as a single video on the shared account "YouWouldBeWelcome" in late 2019, signifying its small but enduring impact on the subsequent community.
