Linux is the colloquial term used for a series of "Unix-Like" operating systems. Linux itself is a kernel that is most commonly used, however there are others that may be used in its place (like BSD, for example.)
Many of the professional video editors are not available on Linux. However, most editors like Kdenlive and Blender are openly available, making them common choices for Linux tennis players.
