vvaluigi vs. MycroProcessor is a YouTube Poop tennis match played as a part of the Grey Tennis Tournament, taking place on the YouChew forums between November 19 to November 28, 2009. It was played as part of the Set 1 lineup of matches and was the first of two times that both players would be in a match together, with the second being a three way with GameBop the following year. Sources added include The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, Kyorochan 's Hungarian dub(referred to as Kukucska kalandjai), Myst IV: Revelation, Torin's Passage, Sonic OVA, and Sonic Heroes.
The match is remembered for being one of near diametrically opposing editing styles, with MycroProcessor's signature classic-era complexity coming to a head with vvaluigi's radical-on-the-surface simplicity, the latter of which additionally contained what Ferretfreak111 referred to as "the element of surprise". Round 2, "Kukucska Performs Sonic Music on Cement Puzzle Pieces"(2009), is easily considered the match's signature round; the majority of the editing is done inside of a 20-segment that is repeated 5 times and embellished each time with very slight differences, creating a game with the viewer to guess what the differences are. This was Mycro's second "difference puzzle" video following the duplicate uploads of "A Leafeon Dreams of Being a Physics Professor Every 2(3) Mycroseconds" on June 23, 2009, and also has the distinction of being the second tennis round by him to be uploaded to his alternate Joltoen account, with Round 4 being the third in addition. GameBop later made heavy reference to this Round 2 in "Seconds, Anyone?"(2010), their Round 1 with Sploltoen and MycroProcessor in the 3-Way Tennis Tournament.
Even despite Mycro's contributions dominating the match's direction, vvaluigi deployed a brilliant and deceptive tactic in order to give himself the edge. Adopting a simpler style than he was known for at the time, both of his subsequent responses were made at an absolutely incredible speed, with his well-received Round 3 "Kukucska and Sonic Produce Pieces of Cement Puzzles on Your Radio Station"(2009) being uploaded and posted under two and a half hours after Round 2, and his Round 5 being uploaded and posted only an hour and a half after Round 4. This had the effect of putting Mycro in a state of constant turnaround with practically no rest in between the crafting of his comparatively laborious rounds, and he subsequently considered his performance in the match to be of a low standard. It received considerable attention from the contemporary tennis community due to its heavy contrast in editing styles and became the most voted on match in the entire tournament, receiving 20 votes in total. Even more remarkably, vvaluigi ended up emerging as the winner of the match in a landslide vote of 14-6, marking for a very rare occasion of simplicity winning over complexity on the competitive tennis front, and the only ever time MycroProcessor was eliminated in the first set of a tournament. RAKninja additionally awarded both players a "Tennis Fuck Choice Award" for their respective performances in the match. vvaluigi would continue to play until Set 3, where he was defeated by GameBop albeit by a very close single vote difference.
