NewBlueFX

NewBlueFX, commonly known as NBFX, is a effect suite by NewBlue for most common video editors. Historically, it was part of the first wave of major plugins, alongside Wax and Pixelan's plugin suite (like CreativEase).

There are many different "versions", but the most important is TotalFX as it has, well, everything! Many editors, especially lower budget ones like Premiere Elements, will ship with many NBFX plugins pre-installed as a sample of what it can do.

Effects

• Wiggle - "wiggles" the footage. More often used as a way to create "bars" out of a video, by clipping the wiggle so that it fills in the missing space with extended edge pixels of the original footage. (kinda hard to explain will be better once a picture is added)

Transitions

• Box Explode - Makes a "box" out of the footage, that flies out and "explodes".
