Luioigi vs. Crash2991 is a YouTube Poop/Video tennis match that took place on the "Vanilla" YouChew forums from February 28 to March 11, 2008. It originally began as an open serve, in which Luioigi stipulated an express desire for 8 rounds, at least two sources added every round, and a maximum round time of 2:30 minutes each. Crash2991 accepted as an opponent, suggesting the additional condition of an unlimited amount of time to make responses, which was then appended[1]. While Luioigi and Crash2991 would be both be active in the community over the course of the next couple of years, this would be the only time they would ever cross paths in a tennis match of any arrangement. Sources added include Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind(1984), Teletubbies, the Mega Man animated series, one of the late 20th century TV adaptions of Journey To The West, Sgt. Frog, Two Stupid Dogs, the Donald no uwasa commercials featuring Ronald McDonald, Gundam Wing, Muppet Babies, The O'Reilly Factor, Ranma 1/2, Chobits, Scooby-Doo!, the Tom and Jerry short Flirty Birdy(1945), the Bugs Bunny short Hillbilly Hare(1950), Final Fantasy VI (SNES, 1994), Final Fantasy: Unlimited, and Voltes V.
It was the fifth match played by Luioigi[2] and the fourth match played by Crash2991[3][4]. At the time of its occurrence the forums were in the thick of mass defections from the ongoing rule of Conrad Slater during this era to the side of RabbitSnore and TINS on the Planet Freedom offshoot forums. As a result, this match occurred during a period of low activity on the site itself and was initially seen only by the dedicated regulars of the original Tennis Cafe thread in the slowly developing tennis community. Due to Round 2 putting particular focus on a nonspecific rabbit pulled out of the original Teletubbies footage, RabbitSnore playfully became an avid watcher of the match("Layers, anime, and rabbits? Ho ho!"[5]) and posted at its conclusion, "I commend the both of you on making graceful, elegant noise. A fine match. *applauds*"[6]. NS2 considered the match to be an early classic, and added it to YouChew's early Tennis: Archives subforum in August 2008, one of the 25 matches chosen for inclusion into that section that came initially from the inaccessible-at-the-time Vanilla forums[7].
Crash2991 privated all of his videos in 2011; his full body of work was saved and uploaded to archive.org in December 2019[8], allowing for his matches to be seen in full again and making this the earliest of Luioigi's matches to remain fully preserved. It was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in March 2023[9].

This page of the old Tennis: Completed section shows the matches he played with Luioigi, NS2 and RAK in order; his fourth, fifth and sixth matches played.
