GameBop vs. mYZterbattyX was a YouTube Poop/Video tennis match played from July 7, 2010 to March 24, 2011[1]. Played by the latter player from his third account (ArtichokeSpades) and his fifth account (barthoIemew), it is one of few matches he played in which all of his rounds have been able to retain preservation across his numerous account deletions. Sources added include Kukori Es Kotkoda, Torin's Passage(PC, 1995), Alfred Kwak, and YouTube videos of Yngwie Malmsteen. Round 5, "Mel dials a phone"(2010), became the subject of GameBop's "Puzzle Pieces -2"; used to show the individually rendered segments of the video that were used to arrive at the final product.
It was the 45th match completed by Gamebop[2] and somewhere around the sixth match completed by rapskallionxyz/mYZterbattyX. With this match occurring at an arguable apex in development of the latter player's style, the match is remembered for its above-average visual spectacle in its use of Debugmode WAX and composite effects for the even rounds, with the match's Round 6 reaching particular grandiose heights in this fashion. Thanks to the modern community's embrace, it remains in the present mYZterbattyX's most well known match due to this in tandem with the match's full preservation, and was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in August 2024.
