ChrisGendo vs. AshcrementVII accounts for two seperate YouTube Poop Tennis matches with the same volleying order; the originial took place between September 26 and October 17, 2010. This match was themed around only using animated sources for its duration, and as a result each round features a unique mixture of both Japanese and Western animation, with a particular focus on Disney-related media for the latter. Sources added include Welcome To The NHK ("I'M GOING TOWARDS THE LIIIIIIIIIIGHT"), Bakemonogotari, Kara No Kyoukai, the Touhou music video for the IOSYS arrangement of "Heartfelt Nekoromancer", Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might, Full Metal Panic!, Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Revolutionary Girl Utena, "Top wo Nerae! Fly High"(1989) from the Gunbuster soundtrack album Top wo Nerae! Ongaku Daizukan, The Great Mouse Detective(1986), DuckTales, Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers, the Daffy Duck short Duck Amuck(1953), the Goofy short No Smoking(1951), and the Mickey Mouse short The Band Concert(1935).

It was the 39th match completed by ChrisGendo. It is notable for being AshcrementVII's very first match, within which he made an immediate impression on the tennis community at the time for a unique approach that already seemed fully formed, with a grasp on tennis that was more advanced than the average beginner. His immediate intuitive expertise allowed for a match of initially modest ambition to increase its quality in terms of both players' responses, sporting a final rotation that was far more musical and complex in scope. AshcrementVII and ChrisGendo found each other having incredible chemistry together in terms of source and stylistic preference, and the match was the beginning of a close years-long friendship between them. They would go on to play in many more matches together, both collaborating and volleying off each other in different configurations, and both would borrow from one another's signature sources in their own separate video output.

The rematch took place between October 15, 2011 and October 21, 2012, meant to mark the one year anniversary of the original by revisiting many previous themes and ideas and occurring during a period where one or both players were active members of the tennis staff. Alongside the reappearance of sources from the original match, new additions include the Altus puzzle game Catherine(PS3, 2011), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Great Teacher Onizuka, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, Hanasaku Iroha, A Goofy Movie(1995), Darkwing Duck, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Pinky and the Brain, the Goofy short How To Play Baseball(1942), the Daffy Duck short Daffy - The Commando(1942), and the Mickey Mouse short Mickey's Trailer(1938).

It was the 53rd match completed by ChrisGendo and the 26th match completed by AshcrementVII. With the latter player's style now having considerably evolved, this match takes the full opportunity to be much more humorous and irreverent than the former match, allowing for an energy of playfulness and friendly spirit that endures for two rounds longer than the former. Round 2's use of Steely Dan's "The Fez"(1976) over footage of Goofy dancing serves as a playful nod to mutual friend NS2(a specific reference to "Explosive Purple Thing"(2008), in which NS2 creates a similar edit using David Bowie's "Fame"(1975), but also to his noted love of Steely Dan's music), and Round 7 contains a pitched-down backwards message that says "Look, I don't know why you bothered to reverse this audio....or...even listen to this, uh, you're probably going to raise the pitch on this too...really, what's your problem...?"(Ashcrement indeed promptly reverses, pitches up and uses this in Round 8.) Additionally, every round either features or ends with a depiction of the two characters meant to represent the two players (Hitagi Senjōgahara from the Monogatari series (Round 8 substitutes this for Patchouli Knowledge from the Touhou series) and Professor Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective). Up to Round 6, these characters playfully "usurp" one another at the end of each round before being both represented at once in the match's final rotation. The match is also much more musical, running a gamut of genres and including songs such as "Machizou.Machiko.Hakaki"(2011) by 0.8BuyoutSyooogeki, the track "Howling Moon (Valkenhayn's theme)" from the OST of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift(PS3, 2009), the track "Violent Battle" from the OST of Super Robot Wars: Original Generations(PS2, 2007), the track "Fighting Man" from the OST of Breath of Fire III(PS1, 1997), the Motoi Sakuraba-composed track "Theme of RENA (music box)" from the OST for Star Ocean: The Second Story(PS1, 1998), "Yonkers"(2011) by Tyler, The Creator, "I Put A Spell On You"(1968) by Creedance Clearwater Revival, "Torukia"(2005) by Gabriela Robin (from the third OST album for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex(2002)), a remix of the Touhou Koumakyou ~ The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil(2002) OST track "Locked Girl"(2010) by CROW'SCLAW, "Dead Sound of Misery"(2006) by Blind Guardian, "トリオ ザ コックコート(Trio The Cook Coat)"(2004) by Copter4016882, "Klstrphnky"(2002) by Ted Nugent, "Kimi Ni Hoe Hoe"(2006) by Pearl Brothers (from Welcome To The N.H.K Original Soundtrack "Dark Side Ni Yokoso!"), "Let's Groove"(1981) by Earth, Wind and Fire, and "Heavy Fuel"(1991) by Dire Straits.

All rounds for both matches continue to exist in their original uploads. Both were first compiled as single videos on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in September 2024.
