AshcrementVII vs. UncleChuckTH was a YouTube Poop/Video tennis match that took place between August 2 and August 26, 2012. Intended as a tribute to the work and editing style of the latter player, the entire match is themed around the usage of the Lupin III universe of anime adaptions, with a focus on mostly the "red jacket" and "green jacket" eras of the 1970s. The prominent source from the serve onward is Lupin the Third: Pilot Film(1969), with a specific focus on the character Zenigata, of which every round title of this match is a pun on the name of. Other sources added within this theme include the opening titles for the series' Lupin III: Part II(1977-1980) and Lupin III: Part III(1984-1985), select episodes from Lupin III: Part I(1971-1972)("Is Lupin Burning...?!", "One Wolf Calls Another", "The Emerald's Secret"), Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy(1987), Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro(1979) and the Monophonics song "Like Yesterday"(2011). A recurring motif is the use of the Steely Dan song "Peg"(1977), specifically the lyric "I Know I Love You Better" which appears in every round of the match along with other select lyrics of the song. Alongside this, other audio snippets utilized for jokier moments and otherwise originate from the Bee Gees song "Stayin Alive"(1977), the Marvin Gaye song "Let's Get It On"(1973), the Steely Dan song "Green Earrings"(1976), and the films The Princess Bride(1987)("INCONCEIVABLE!"), Ninja: Silent Assassin(1987)("SHIT!" "TIGER'S BEEN- TORCHED!") and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope(1977)("What a piece of junk!")
It was the 22nd match played by AshcrementVII and the final match to be played by UncleChuckTH, marking the end of a tennis run that began with the third tennis match ever played. The serve of this match, "Zenny Gotta Phoney Call", has also gone on to become the fifth most popular video on AshcrementVII's YouTube channel with 3.5 thousand views. Originally intending to make a Round 6, UncleChuck made the decision on September 13, 2012 to consider the match complete where it was, specifying:
"This whole idea was yours Ash, and you've done such fine work on it. As it was a tribute to me and my style in the first place, I think it's fitting that you should be the one to close with your amazing montage. You've done me proud and made me very happy. I'm content to leave it there."
While he also hinted at the possibly of more output, stating "I'm not sure what the future will bring, but it could be more tennis, since that's what I enjoy most.", this was UncleChuck's last new output as an active creator entirely. The match was compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account on May 2, 2025, alongside NS2 vs. Markie(2012) and strong414bad vs. NEVERGONNAGETIT92000(2013), the final matches respectively of NS2 and strong414bad.
