Artificial Intelligence (more commonly referred to as AI) is a rapidly-developing computer technology that uses neural networks to create "intelligent" systems. In other words, a computer that can think like a human. While the technology has existed since the 80's in the form of de-noising algorithms and the like, computer developments in the early 2020's lead to a landslide in AI development in the form of knowledge recall and media generation.

The usage of AI in tennis, similar to other related art communities, is rather controversial; current AI technology is very expensive to maintain (running individual AI systems are very expensive, so often work is relegated to data centers which use copious amounts of natural resources) and often relies on stealing the work of other artists to pump out sub-par content. However if used correctly AI can be a great supplement to the creative process that has countless possibility to discover.

Image Generation

Stable Diffusion

One of the most well known image generation tools, Stable Diffusion has been ported to many different services. Visions of Chaos is one of them.

Audio Generation

Video Generation

AI video generation is still very early in development and requires much more resources than image or audio generation. So far there are very few, if any, AI-generated video tools that can be run on a standalone machine; almost all of them are web-based.

Dream Machine

One of the very first video generation tools, Dream Machine can make videos based on a text prompt, an existing image, or even "tween" two images together via a video (so for example, if you have two pictures of someone in different spots, the AI will make them walk to the other spot.)

Dream Machine is also the first video-AI tool to be used in tennis, specifically in Template:Nonojuju's round 19 of their Vs. Everyone match:
