AbsoluteBillion vs. TheChutley was a Youtube Poop Tennis match that took place between September 27, 2010 and March 21, 2011. It centers for the majority of the match around the usage of the Season 4 finale of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, fittingly called "Tennis", with an explicit focus on the sequence where Glen Tennis is interviewed about his new film "The Pilgrums". Notably, visual source addition in this match is kept at a low minimum, with most of the new material added being limited to the songs of two progressive rock bands; AbsoluteBillion focuses on adding the songs of Yes (including "Long Distance Runaround"(1971), "Heart of the Sunrise"(1971), "We Have Heaven"(1971), "Siberian Khatru"(1972), "Close to the Edge"(1972), and "The Ancient(Giants Under the Sun)"(1973)), while TheChutley focuses on adding the songs of Rush (including "Something For Nothing"(1976), "Circumstances"(1978), "Spirit of the Radio"(1980), "New World Man"(1982), "2112"(1976), "Natural Science"(1980), "Madrigal"(1977), "Cygnus X-1"(1977), "The Big Money"(1985) and "A Farewell to Kings"(1977)). To further this theming, among the very small amount of visual added sources appearing across rounds include the album cover for Fragile(1971) by Yes, and the album covers for A Farewell to Kings(1977) and Hemispheres(1978) by Rush. Besides these additions, over the course of the match the content of the serve is edited over and visually deteriorated until it only barely remains by Round 8, focusing by then mostly on an extended editing vamp over the final section to appear across rounds.
It was the fifth match played by AbsoluteBillion and the 49th match played by TheChutley, and remains the best known tennis match to have been played by the former player. It received considerable contemporary attention due to it occurring during the initial imperial era for both of its players, and has quickly grown in stature and respect due to this and the match itself's mostly conventional, linear nature to be sometimes considered as one of the best ever 1v1 tennis matches. It is recognized for the way the added music supersedes the visual source material in dictating the direction and feel of each round, and is additionally sometimes recognized as marking a sea change in the history of Tennis entirely. It was the last match played by TheChutley for an entire year, in which the community changed its guard drastically, with the earlier more freewheeling era of tennis seeming to come to an end.
It was compiled for the first time in April/May 2011, during an unusual period in which TheChutley's account was briefly suspended, and was subsequently recompiled and uploaded on "TheChutley Archive" in September 2024.
