3inchhorse vs. TheChutley, originally and for many years billed as 3inchhorse vs. YTPSource, was a YouTube Poop/Video tennis match that took place on the YouChew forums between August 13 and September 6, 2008. The outlined rules of this match according to its serving player were "You must add a source each round, unlimited response time." Sources added include Clone High, Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, Footage of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush("BLAH BLAH BLAH I'M AN OLD PERSON"), "RETISAXASPAXAGHOTTI"(2008) by MrTennek, Link: The Faces of Evil(CD-i, 1993), Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos(PS1, 1997), the music video for "Breathe Again" (2007) by Fear Zero, Seuss On The Loose(1973), Dr. Rabbit's Wold Tour(1998), Tourettes Guy samples, and an image of Ronald McDonald.
It was the 4th known match completed by 3inchorse[1] and the first ever match to be completed by TheChutley.[2] It was additionally the first of her initial six "pre-TheChutley" matches played under her starting alias of YTPSource, and the first of two matches that she played using Adobe Premiere before switching to Sony Vegas for her match with thedeadonesrise. 3inchhorse vs. TheChutley has proven to have enduring influence into the present day, not the least upon TheChutley herself; despite initially describing her rounds in the match as "suck[ing] terribly"[3], many elements of this early style would unexpectedly reappear and be refined/expanded into a form that became described as "Cool Mode" upon her first return to tennis in 2014. The moment where Ronald McDonald appears on screen to "Here.....is the BETCH! Golly!" would be referenced in her Round 43 of Chain 3, with Ronald McDonald upgraded into a stock image of a sad, unshaven clown smoking a cigarette. 3inchhorse's Round 1 has also served to have an enduring influence upon VidTens443, who has often pointed to the videos large, varied stack of starting sources and the intense, in-your-face energy of the editing style as a fundamental template for their own approach to tennis.[4]
As with most of TheChutley's matches, all rounds have been archived despite both the 3inchhorse and YTPSource channels having long since disappeared off of YouTube. It was first compiled into a single video on her main account as early as February 2009.
