Moogle vs. theHappyFungus was a Youtube Poop/Video tennis match that took place between June 12 and July 7, 2008. Moogle made their first appearance in the then-current Tennis Cafe thread on the YouChew forums on May 18 speaking about seeking a potential match, which theHappyFungus immediately answered to -- this was one of only two full matches played by Moogle on their original YTP/tennis account MoogleAbuse. It was the first match played by Moogle and the twelfth match played by theHappyFungus. A notable theme throughout the match is gun violence, featuring a variety of material involving characters using guns, with multiple edits in the match being characters from different sources shooting at and being shot at by each other. This eventually ends in an relatively violent Round 6, where characters in Rambo all meet their bloody demise to the gun-wielding characters in Pulp Fiction, Meet The Sniper and Black Cat, White Cat, including a scene where it is implied that Major Pa Tee Tint was disemboweled by the Sniper's signature kukri. A secondary theme throughout the match are deliberately "bad" YTPMV segments only involving amateurly pitch-shifting clips from one source, with the songs only occasionally given BGM to indicate the song being covered and with notes sometimes missed or skipped; the songs range from classical compositions, rock songs like "Stairway to Heaven"("SORRY, IT HAD TO BE DONE") to video game songs such as the Super Mario Bros. main theme to Touhou songs such as "U. N. Owen was Her?(Flandre's Theme)". theHappyFungus eventually concludes this bit with on screen text that reads "NO MORE MUSIC!". Moogle's contributions to the match were immediately noticed by other tennis regulars of the time, with theHappyFungus herself saying "Moogles round 3 is a fucking masterpiece." RabbitSnore agreed, exclaiming, "Holy Jesus... You're absolutely fucking right. Moogle is really, really good." By the time that Round 5 was uploaded, Moogle vs. theHappyFungus was being roundly praised; Rabbit further declared "Happy vs. Moogle is the most amazing tennis I've seen in a while(...) It's so fucking perfect. Like the games we used to rant on and on about in the old days." NS2 added "That's what I thought back when it started. My mind was literally blown, blown like it never was before when it came to [YTP]." Both players would additionally refer to the match as "perfection" and "truly inspirational". Both Moogle and NS2 additionally regarded theHappyFungus' Round 6 as respectively "Fantastic." and "It's more than fantastic, but I can't find the right word." Moogle expressed "I honestly didn't expect my first match would be so good and even considered saying 'screw it' and forfeiting after round 2 & 4."

Moogle accidentally closed the "MoogleAbuse" account on December 24, 2008, and subsequently created the new account "ffgasm" where they reuploaded their past tennis material, including Round 3 and 5 of this match, in April 2009. Round 1 remained absent from this channel, with Moogle explaining "I removed it for safety knowing YouTube's been removing Running in the 90s vids for copyright, and nobody really cares about that video for that matter. Nobody even noticed my removing it." Round 1 has never resurfaced since and is considered currently lost. theHappyFungus' rounds had previously been lost due to her channel becoming terminated by action from a third party (likely that of Norm Augustinus) in the mid-2010's, but were all restored through the efforts of The Great Restoration. Rounds 2-6 were first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in April 2026.
