Doubles Cup 1

The Doubles Cup 1 or DC1 was a Youtube Poop Tennis Tournament organized and hosted by RAKninja that started in November 2008 and continued until June 2009. It was the fifth tournament overall. The first tournament in the Doubles format, it served to be significant in helping to cement the popularity of doubles tennis as a viable match type entirely. The gameplay model that was created and used in this competition would later be used again for the Doubles Cup 2 and the Doubles Cup 4. The winners of this tournament were the duo of Aesaun and AjaxCubed.

This was the first tennis competition to feature many significant players, including TheChutley, trepmaws, MycroProcessor, Moogle, Quax, JazzDanceForChildren, TangerineImpz/Imperade, XBR4D3NX, McMANGOS, AjaxCubed, KlausTheWizard, JackTron7000, TheSfarioBros, Futures Passed and SergeantBacon. It was the last tennis competition to feature Nuthead and Terrorist, and the only tennis competition to feature UberNooberPooper, theflashmaker9985, MrGenericMan and Grabboarm.
