In other words, a computer that can think like a human. While the technology has existed since the 80's with technology such as denoising, computer developments in the early 2020's lead to a landslide in AI development in the form of knowledge recall and media generation.


Another usage that is coming up soon is the ability to make tennis outright using video generators. "Dream Machine" is a website that can make videos out of images; unfortunately modern machines aren't powerful enough to do it locally, so it'll be a while until anything comes of this. But the future is bright... if you think this sorta thing is cool.
The usage of AI in [[tennis]], similar to other related art communities, is rather controversial; current AI technology is very expensive to maintain (running individual AI systems are very expensive, so often work is relegated to data centers which use copious amounts of natural resources) and often relies on stealing the work of other artists to pump out sub-par content.
