Crash2991 vs. RAKninja was a Youtube Poop/Video tennis match that took place between April 11 and April 22, 2008. One of the first matches to be completed after RabbitSnore and TINS had become the new owners of the YouChew forums, tt was one of a series of matches played during the Spring and Summer of 2008 that saw the consolidation of the first generation of tennis staff as players, friends and community presences. These matches include theHappyFungus vs. RabbitSnore, theHappyFungus vs. RAKninja, theHappyFungus vs. Nuthead, Crash2991 vs. NS2, Crash2991 vs. strong414bad, RabbitSnore vs. Nuthead, theHappyFungus vs. NS2, and Nuthead vs. NS2. The match is noted for the above average choices in sources used for the time, with RabbitSnore remarking that both players had "excellent taste in material". Among the sources used include the anime Sgt. Frog, Outlaw Star, Puni Puni Poemy, Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers 2010, Dragon Ball and Golden Boy, and the miscellaneous material Melty Blood(PC, 2002), Ren and Stimpy, RoboCop(1987), Black Samurai(1977), The Transformers(G1, specifically the Season 3 episode "Madman's Paradise"(1986)), Ultraman, and a sequence of the Swedish Chef from The Muppet Show "raving" to a different song in all 6 rounds, including three tracks from Lemmings(Amiga, 1991). Some of this material was home ripped from collections owned in particular by RAK himself.

Crash2991 vs. RAKninja was a Youtube Poop Tennis match that took place between April 11 and April 22, 2008. One of a number of matches to occur between future members of the first generation of tennis staff, this match was a meeting of two of the early great minds of tennis, and contributed to the beginning of a years-long friendship between them.
It was the sixth match played by Crash2991 and the third match played by RAKninja. In RAK's previous match with theHappyFungus, a clip of Kintaro from Golden Boy exclaiming "THOUSAND DOLLARS!" became one of the match's most identifiable features, and was one such moment Crash2991 in particular was fond of. As a result, this is reintroduced into this match and also becomes one its own standout moments, subsequently becoming an in-joke between the two and creating a strong association with them. "THOUSAND DOLLARS!" would see occasional reference in future tennis matches, being reintroduced by the pair in + TangerineImpz vs. RAKninja + Crash2991(2009) in the Tennis Season, and subsequently alluded to in vs. NS2(2010) and theFXexpert vs. (2012) in the Tennis Cup 4.

The match is noted for the above average choices in sources used for the time, with RabbitSnore remarking that both players had "excellent taste in material". Much of the footage used was sourced from anime of various generations, including Sgt. Frog, Outlaw Star, Puni Puni Poemy, Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers 2010, Dragon Ball and Golden Boy, the latter of which spawned the years-long in-joke clip of "THOUSAND DOLLARS!". Also used throughout the match are footage from the fighting game Melty Blood(2002), Ren and Stimpy, RoboCop(1987), the blaxploitation film Black Samurai(1977), Transformers G1, a Godzilla film, and a sequence of the Swedish Chef from The Muppet Show "raving" to a different song in all 6 rounds. Originally only half viewable for many years, the missing rounds were identified on Archive.org and the full match was recompiled into a single video in late 2019.
Crash2991 privated all of his videos in 2011; his full body of work was saved and uploaded to archive.org in December 2019, allowing for his matches to be seen in full again. RAKninja's rounds continue to survive but were privated for a short period in the early 2010s. The match was first compiled into a single video on what later became the YouWouldBeWelcome account (at the time called "maniafax") in December 2019.
