OLDSACKS vs. VastareMetal is a YouTube Poop Tennis match played between March 1, 2012 and June 18, 2014. It predominantly revolves around the educational children's show Sid The Science Kid, as well as the "Witch Doctor" song from Alvin and the Chipmunks. Other sources include OLDSACKS' original short Fun Times With Rodrick, Team Fortress 2, the Ben Drowned creepypasta, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the YouTuber "Jettan" (citation needed), and the Tourettes Guy.
The match has a very YTP-oriented editing style, full of sentence mixing and chaotic humor. Similar to other matches of this style, it focuses on linear edits that focus more on adding onto existing sequences rather than building on top of them. Each round also has its own intro that slowly builds off the previous one, often in the form of various screens (or similar) displaying the intro from the previous round. The match is also known for its many YTPMVs by both players (both original and covers of existing songs); most prominently for one of "Kids" by MGMT in Round 6.
With every round gaining a reach in the range of tens of thousands of views, this match was notable as being an entry point into tennis for a lot of subsequent prominent players, and is as such considered a quality match amongst them. It is a particular favorite of tennis staff nm41 and mrdoognoog, the latter of which this being their introduction to tennis.

Largely due to its popularity, OLDSACKS vs. VastareMetal has spawned many unofficial extensions by various players.
The Never Ending Tennis
This is an "endless" continuation of the match that was forked off of the last round of the original. It was played between Gawain Hale Films and Nunof Yerbizness. After that revival went dormant, it was picked up again, this time being played between CoolGuy2004 and AskedMammal25. After a while, they started letting more contributors make rounds for the match. It currently sits at around 177 rounds.

Only the serve for this match was made due to coolumakeit's retirement.
Mystery Games
Due to the above match's failure, nm41 decided to give the aforementioned serve to two lucky participants: Morshe and CRJ1. This later evolved into the Mystery Games series of matches, which are very similar in style to the tennis minicompetitions.
