DaftPunkYoshi vs. SergeantBacon/ChrisGendo was a Youtube Poop/Video tennis match that originally took place between January 24 and September 26, 2011 with the first volleying opponent, and then from September 26, 2011 to April 4, 2012 with the second volleying opponent. The final match to feature SergeantBacon/Baycun's participation before his full transition from tennis to YTPMV, the match originally reached 5 rounds in its original configuration - one round from standard completion - before ChrisGendo stepped in to make Round 6, at which point a further four rounds were exchanged to make for a full match with the new lineup. It was the only time any of the players faced each other on their respective sides.

The match has a title sequence that follows a traditional story progression, telling the epic story of "Bob", the protagonist of an extended 1995 infomercial for the Atari Jaguar that is the main source of DaftPunkYoshi's serve, and how he books a flight to an island that he is warned beforehand of being inhabited by unpleasant characters. Deciding to book his hotel there anyway, a mundane story transforms into a science fiction epic as Bob becomes a "living God" of the planet Mars as it comes to host a developed and advanced society of his creation, who then must defend their planet from extraterrestrial invasion. Other sources added include Strong Bad Email #118 - "Virus"(2004), Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest(SNES, 1992), Shadow Squadron(Sega 32x, 1995), images/GIFs of Riolu and Lucario, California Crisis(1986), Megazone 23(1985), Nineteen 19(1990), Dominion Tank Police(1988), The Great Mouse Detective(1986; a very obvious nod to AshcrementVII), Version 2 of the ending sequence for Panty and Stocking, Version 3 of the opening sequence for Nisemonogatari, the end credits sequence of Dirty Pair, and Version 2 of the opening sequence for Kimagure Orange Road.

This was DaftPunkYoshi's only full match played after he had left behind Windows Movie Maker following the 3-Way Tennis Tournament in 2010 and switched to Adobe Premiere Elements. Many of his familiar stylistic hallmarks carried themselves over well in his handling of this new editor - as he was already known to pull off keyframing and layering tricks in the former software, here he was able to do this with ease, no longer needing exterior plugins nor needing to navigate software jank in order to make such editing possible. Aside from some new effect embellishments, 3D textures and greater use of extra video layers, the stutter/repetition/transition heavy style he had made himself known for was still very much intact, as was his preference for video game-related material, vintage anime and house music as his signature source pool. SergeantBacon's rounds are ambitious in their intent and arguably unintentionally set the stage for the rounds that were to happen following his departure, with his Round 2 attempting to create a YTPMV syncopation to "Flight Tonight"(2000) by The Avalanches and Round 4 opting for an extreme avant-guarde approach, mostly featuring a great selection of artworks by the legendary surrealist painter Salvador Dali, including Autumnal Cannibalism(1936), Spider of the Evening(1940), Metamorphosis of Narcissus(1937), Uranium and Atomica Melancholica Idyll(1945), Tuna Fishing(1967), Soft Construction with Boiled Beans (Premonition of Civil War)(1936), Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man(1943) and Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening(1944). Round 4 was his final tennis round until “10VISION_ROUND1_2017_06_07”(2017), a collaborative doubles serve made with Dozzyrok for the Doubles Cup 3.

With Baycun becoming replaced by ChrisGendo, who regarded DaftPunkYoshi's musical Round 5 as "perfectly up my alley to volley", the match becomes almost fully musical for the remainder of its length, driving all of its edits around song/track selections for each response that include "Fallen Angel feat. Aimee B"(2010) by Mitsunori Ikeda, "Spaced Invader (J Majik Remix)"(2001) by Hatiras, "Untrust Us"(2008), "Pap Smear"(2010) and "Year of Silence"(2010) by Crystal Castles and "The Spirit (DJ Sneak Mix)"(2008) by Gene Farris. The disjointed nature of the first half of the match thusly becomes resolved by a much more thematic and consistent second half, with the visuals of the match working in tandem with the music to deliver an ethereal, synesthetic experience from both sides.

It was the 52nd match completed by ChrisGendo and the 22nd and final match to be completed by DaftPunkYoshi; he attempted to restart another unfinished match originally with LieutenantMiles as his opponent (who was replaced by dani_phantump for Round 4) but no further rounds were ever made. Only ChrisGendo's rounds survive in their original uploads - Baycun's original "SergeantBacon" account was terminated in late April 2011 with his rounds for this match eventually being reuploaded, and DaftPunkYoshi's account was terminated in September 2016 but fully archived ahead of time, along with his own reuploads of his rounds of the match on his subsequent account "DiscoNRG Lucario". It was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in September 2025.
