Gachapon League

The Gachapon League is an unofficial Tennis Tournament hosted by TheChutley on YellowTealPurple in October of 2025. This tournament focuses on the collaborative side of tennis as it tinkers the idea of assigning players into pods, pinning the blueprints of the HardcoreMormonFuckingMachine in Tennis League 4.

Rules

Once players sign up in this tournament, they are assigned into random groups of 4 players each. Each of these groups then becomes one "pod" that faces against another "pod" with a different set of 4 players. Pulls on this tournament involve a poll being created on the main league thread after each set, and this allows players and anyone spectating to vote to randomize the players inside the pods to form new pods, similar to pulling a lever on a Gachapon machine. Continuing on the YellowTealPurple thread:

- No max contribution duration limit, players must each contribute a minimum of 10 seconds each — meaning with 3 players per pod, minimum would be 30sec; with 4 players, it would be 40sec.
- No voting; league ends after 4 "pulls"
- No deadline, but match fails after 10 days without an update.
