=History=
Video Star first came out some time before 2011. During this time, music video production was its sole purpose and Video Star was heavily streamlined in this regard. In 2011 a fork of the program known as ''VideoFX Live'' was produced as a more generalized video editor rather than just for music videos. VideoFX Live allowed for more freedom in how video footage could be manipulated, making it a popular choice at the time. Around 2020 these features eventually made their way into Video Star, making VideoFX Live somewhat redundant.<ref>[[File:Dillon TTI 7-7-25 videostar.png]]</ref> The last version of VideoFX Live was built on July 22nd, 2022,<ref>https://videofx-live.en.softonic.com/iphone</ref> and within the year it was removed from the App Store entirely.
Despite this development, many of the music-related limitations of Video Star remain, making it a somewhat challenging choice for tennis-related edits. The subscription plan for full features has also been quite unpopular.
