Boris RED is... I really don't know? Some sort of compositor plugin by Boris FX that implements BCC effects directly into other editors (similar to the hooking that Wax does).

Usage
RED has many of the effects that other Boris products have, but in a separate environment from that of the editor of choice. This allows for a bit more freedom in what you can do with them.
