=History=

Tennis was in a very troubled time after the shutdown of [[YouChew]]. Many of the staff were completely gone, and it was up to the younger crowd to pick up the pieces. With no staff, who would run tournaments?

Due to the general immaturity of many of the staff in hosting tournaments, TL5 was a growing pain in rebuilding that side of the community. It was largely agreed upon that the League format no longer worked for the modern meta and likely would never happen again, unless the scale was brought down significantly or other major changes were made to ease the load.

=Layout=

TL5 was laid out very similar to TL4, with ~~one very unique~~ twist. In a blend of the match variation system of [[Tennis Season]], there were five different match types one could get. These were:

Due to mistakes in matchmaking, set 5 had to be split up to avoid duplicate matches occurring. That alongside increasing dropouts made planning the final set a nightmare. But it was done.
