'''Ishkibibl vs. {{NS2}}''' was a [[YouTube Poop]]/Video [[tennis]] match played on the [[YouChew forums]] between July 28 and August 16, 2008. It was the final match of the [[Tennis Cup]], with Ishkibibl having previously defeated Temeku/MTB710 and NS2 having previously defeated ophios in the semi-final set. It was also the farthest that either player would ever get within a tournament structure; the [[Tennis Cup]] was Ishkibibl's only tournament and one of two tournaments to be played in by NS2, both in 2008. As RetardedAnimeParody is the only listed match that is not 6 rounds long before Ishkibibl, it is passed over for this designation.</ref>. Ishkibibl closed his original account not long after this match had completed and the tournament ended, and only his Round 3, "ZACH'S MUSICALGASM"(2008), remains as surviving evidence of his performance in this match. The match was actively and excitedly spectated for much of its duration, with Ish's Round 3 in particular being considered by some such as Captpan6 to be the best tennis round they had ever seen, and one of the best rounds in the entire competition. Predominantly musical editing takes up his side of the match in addition to his other signatures of stutter and frame-scramble based editing, making for an early memorable and effective strategy for performing strongly in a tournament setting. NS2 focused his strategy largely around the augmentation of effective sources and his usual brand of clever, simple edits executed in WMM, and was considered to have made an admirable and solid argument for victory, especially with his Round 6, "ZACH'S CHEMGASM"(2008), the final video of the [[Tennis Cup]]. In a review of the match written by {{strong414bad}}, he regarded Round 3 as "a really well-done tennis round and it's unlike anything I've ever seen from Tennis" and Round 4 as "a very effective Tennis round and a surprisingly uplifting [YTP]. It's an amazing response to an amazing round, and it turns the match from great to legendary." By this immensely close margin, the winner ended up becoming Ishkibibl, making him the first member to recieve the then brand new "Tennis Tourney Winner" trophy on the forums. NS2 said to sonicnerd23 regarding his narrow defeat, "Ishkibibl deserves your recognition. He is an amazing [creator]. He stands out because his videos are so good." Ishkibibl's quaint reaction to winning was "What the fuck, I won the tennis cup? Goddamnit I never wanted to win. This match is slated to be potentially restored through the efforts of [[The Great Restoration]] as of March 2026.
