Datamosh Studio is compatible with most types of video files (MOV, MP4, WMV, etc.) However, some work better than others.
- Create a project
- Drag the footage in
- Add segments one by one, based on the frame count. If you want to mosh, click the "delete frames" button.
- Copy and past short parts for the "stuttering" mosh effect.
- Save and render
Important: Datamosh Studio tends to mess with audio (it'll desync and be too slow). To fix this, re-create what the audio should be in your editor of choice. It isn't like you're actually messing with the audio, so this ain't too bad!
