With {{GameBop}} as the dedicated co-host of the chain, ShadowWario took an unexpected hiatus on May 22, 2008 and left them in charge of managing it, but as they were at that point unable to make changes to the thread's OP, had to rely on a subsequent post through which they could make their changes for the next month. Their organization of the Chain 2 ended up being their avenue to becoming the newest addition to the [[tennis staff]] on June 23, from which point they were able to gain the desired access to the thread's OP and keep up operations in the chain more seamlessly as a regularly alternating host and co-host. Over a year after the chain completed, it became one of the first tennis event threads to be necrobumped by IceSumo, expressing a wish to have joined it.
