'''{{CorruptionSound}} vs. {{dew}}''' was a YouTube Poop/Video [[tennis match]] that took place between August 18 and September 5, 2012. It was played as a part of the semifinal set of the [[Tennis Cup 4]] alongside the match of JacobketronCT vs. GreatBritishTurd(2012); CorruptionSound had recently defeated MycroProcessor and dani_phantump had recently defeated Bloodis in Set 3. Sources added include ''Inspector Gadget''(1999), ''All Dogs Go to Heaven''(1989), ''Spaceballs''(1987), ''Mystery Men''(1999), ''Mulan''(1998), ''Level 42 - Fait Accompli''(1989), a video of Joe Ligotti as The Guy From Boston, a Boss Coffee commercial starring Tommy Lee Jones, the cover of the 1969 King Crimson album ''In The Court of the Crimson King'', the track "Frash of Sword" from the ''Valis: The Fantasm Soldier'' OST(Genesis, 1992), the tracks "Fear Factory Returns" and "Fear Factory(Music Madness Mix)" from the ''Donkey Kong Country Returns'' OST(Wii, 2010), the Omega song "Start - Gammapolis I"(2002), the Level 42 song "The Sleepwalkers"(1987), and small snippets from the Beatles song "Eleanor Rigby"(1966) and the Bee Gees song "Stayin' Alive"(1977).  

It was the 53rd match to be completed by CorruptionSound and the 42nd match to be completed by dani_phantump. The match featured extensive musical sections featuring extravagant effects, many of which came from dani_phantump's side, and was occasionally criticized by the contemporary community at the time as "showboating". Nonetheless, it was a significant influence upon subsequent generations of the tennis community who considered the match to be ahead of its time, and it served as a template of a commonplace style of tennis in the early 2020's. It was also a major direct inspiration on [[system128 vs. mrdoognoog]](2021), the final match of the [[Match Voting Tournament 2]]. It has since then become seen as a very early example of "Trapezoidium", a term invented to describe the competitive, one-upmanship utilization of extravagant visual effects in a deconstructive and negative context. dani_phantump themselves has remained very critical of fer performance in this match since.

Due to managing a better balance of  more accomplished responses to the complex visual themes of the match in addition to contributing the most significant new material from which to progress ideas off of, this can be seen as why {{CorruptionSound}} was the winner of this match, advancing to the finals and eventually defeating GreatBritishTurd for the tournament championship. {{CorruptionSound}} and {{dani_phantump}} would later play each other again in the [[Tennis League 4]] in a switched volleying order.
