Tennis League 5: Difference between revisions

It was hosted by the newly appointed {{mrdoognoog}} and {{VidTens443}}, not-yet-appointed {{nm41}} and {{dew}}, and Morshe, marking the official beginning of the post-[[YouChew]] era of tennis tournaments. It returned to many of the fundamental tenants of the [[Tennis League 4]], now with the added gimmick of divisions rotating through different match types like the [[Tennis Season]], including Wildcard, Single Source, [[Multiplied Time]], [[Noplug]], and Standard/"Vanilla". It was eventually won by {{Razerek}}, making him the second ever person to win a tennis tournament twice, and the first to win two tournaments in a row.

The tournament captured the tennis community in a complete system reset, with nearly all the old community having since scattered or retired from tennis. It was the first tennis competition to feature CRJ1, {{Milk Gaming Channel}}, {{system128}}, {{Nubman41}}, {{mrdoognoog}}, {{Wodienfor}}, Insert Name Here, {{Gabiwoda}}, {{DatComputerGuy}}, {{BortLoco}}, AngryLuigi23 and ZeroLittleWords, the final tennis competition to feature {{Sploltoen}}, BoomDaCorgi1337, MAZZ0Murder, {{CamHead}}, and {{ClassicBirch}}, and the only tournament to feature AwesomeGuy117, Extrenor, PoopTV, TyrannosAsh420, poprox101, afterbirth!, SuperPoopBros, sull0, KaiPixelLeap7800 and Ian O'Keefe.    

Tennis was in a very troubled time after the shutdown of [[YouChew]]. Many of the staff were completely gone, and it was up to the younger crowd to pick up the pieces. With no staff, who would run tournaments?

Due to the general immaturity of many of the staff in hosting tournaments, TL5 was a growing pain in rebuilding that side of the community. It was largely agreed upon that the League format no longer worked for the modern meta and likely would never happen again, unless the scale was brought down significantly or other major changes were made to ease the load.

TL5 was laid out very similar to [[TL4]], with a twist. In a blend of the match variation system of [[Tennis Season]], there were five different match types one could get. These were:
