Chain 3

Chain 3 was the third official Poop Chain. Lasting from July 12th, 2009 to December 13th, 2014, it lasted 44 rounds before stalling out, bookended on both sides by 52ofem. It was the first official chain to feature multiple contributions from individual players, rather than the single standard contribution of the previous two chains. architect1 contributes four rounds in total, GameBop contributes three, and many other participants contribute two.

ferretfreak111, MycroProcessor, TheDarkRises, ShadowWario/FancySanta, and MAZZ0Murder returned from the Chain 2 to participate. GameBop, SesakaGenX and Luioigi were the only players to have previously appeared in both of the previous chains, though peskeyplumber returned after having originally appeared in the original chain. The first 41 rounds from 52ofem to MAZZ0Murder took place between 2009 and 2010, when eventually the chain was revived in 2014 by MycroProcessor's long awaited round 42. The match stalled again, this time permanently, on round 45 by Sploltoen, who never made their round and eventually retired from tennis in 2020.

Of particular note in the chain is a rare one-off appearance by DanielRadcliffe777, who's Round 31, "THIS PARTICULAR VIDEO WAS SOUS BEFORE IT COULD AT&T"(2010), has eclipsed the entire rest of the chain in popularity due to his cult of personality as a creator, and the stretch of rounds containing his between ChrisGendo and GreatBritishTurd (Round 30-33) is generally regarded as a specific high moment in the chain. MycroProcessor's Round 42, "Shadow's so fast he time warps and explodes EVERYTHING over 4 years later"(2014) was the final upload on his "classic/main" channel before he retired from tennis in 2019, and TheChutley's response to it, "EVERY bird ate all the bread and I'm pretty pissed honestly as I have a family of 4 to feed"(2014) was her tenth video to be made in her then-new "Cool Mode" style, with certain moments having been embraced in their own right. architect1's concluding round of the chain, "Point_Quin's Bird doesn't Know any betty with last name "BREad?!"(2014) was also her final tennis round to date, coming after 4 years since her previous.
