[[ThePlasticCanteen vs. NS2]] was a Youtube Poop Tennis Match played between December 11 and December 30, 2010. Another of a rare breed of match played between two real-life brothers, it was the only match to be played by ThePlasticCanteen and the 25th match to be played by NS2. It was also NS2's penultimate match, coming after having considered himself retired for about a year, and the 6th of 7 matches that he played on his alternate GeneratorSN account.
[[ThePlasticCanteen vs. NS2]] was a Youtube Poop Tennis Match played between December 11 and December 30, 2010. Evidence exists of NS2 desiring a tennis exchange with ThePlasticCanteen as early as March 2008, with one game being attempted between them during this period but NS2 never continuing it. Themed mostly around the usage of various films across the history of classic cinema, every round of this match is over 4 minutes long, with the entire match together lasting over a half hour. Sources added include the films ''Rain Man''(1988), ''Bringing Up Baby''(1938), ''Singin' in the Rain''(1951), ''The Treasure of the Sierra Madre''(1948), ''Patton''(1970), ''Funny Face''(1957), ''Shadow of a Doubt''(1943), ''The Mission''(1986), ''Surf Ninjas''(1993), ''WALL-E''(2008), ''Shaun of the Dead''(2004), ''Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave''(1995), and ''The Princess Bride''(1987), the games ''Heavy Rain''(PS3, 2010) and ''Final Fantasy XIII''(PS3/Xbox 360, 2009), the television series ''Psych'',  a theatrical trailer for ''The Color of Money''(1986), an episode of the Richard Dawson era of ''Family Feud''("Paul Newman, Dad"), the famous Paul Masson Wine commercial starring Orson Welles and two separate Japanese commercials for Suntory Crest Whiskey starring Sean Connery.

The title music is used from the latter-most film as a way to make creative use of the vocal "shon shon"s throughout the piece, as in every round of the match a different "Shaun/Sean/Shawn" is shown on screen during its use. ThePlasticCanteen vs. NS2 was a Youtube Poop Tennis Match played between December 11 and December 30, 2010. Sources added include the films Rain Man(1988), Bringing Up Baby(1938), Singin' in the Rain(1951), The Treasure of the Sierra Madre(1948), Patton(1970), Funny Face(1957), Shadow of a Doubt(1943), The Mission(1986), Surf Ninjas(1993), WALL-E(2008), Shaun of the Dead(2004), Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave(1995), and The Princess Bride(1987), the games Heavy Rain(PS3, 2010) and Final Fantasy XIII(PS3/Xbox 360, 2009), the television series Psych, a theatrical trailer for The Color of Money(1986), an episode of the Richard Dawson era of Family Feud("Paul Newman, Dad"), the famous Paul Masson Wine commercial starring Orson Welles and two separate Japanese commercials for Suntory Crest Whiskey starring Sean Connery.

Music used includes multiple selections from film composer Ennio Morricone, including material taken from his scores for The Good, The Bag and The Ugly(1966), For a Few Dollars More(1965), and Duck, You Sucker!(1971). The title music is used from the latter-most film as a way to make creative and humorous use of the vocal "shon shon"s throughout the piece, as in every round of the match a different "Shaun/Sean/Shawn" is shown on screen during its use. These include Shaun Mars, Shawn Spencer, Shawn The Sheep, Sean Connery, Shaun Riley and Wallace Shawn.

Another of a rare breed of match played between two real-life brothers, it was the only match to be played by ThePlasticCanteen and the 25th match to be played by NS2[1][2]. It was also NS2's penultimate match, coming after having considered himself retired for about a year following his rematch with ChrisGendo, and the 6th of 7 matches that he played on his alternate GeneratorSN account. The match was a cult favorite among the tennis staff of the time, with NS2 saying of the match upon its completion:

"...and I will remember it, because it's definitely one of the best (and most different) matches I have ever played. Never have I played in a match where every round exceeded 3 minutes, and despite that had interesting executions all around."

vel 17 archived the match in its entirety and restored it to Youtube in late August 2024. NS2 would not tennis again until early 2012, when he would play his final match with Markie.

The Full Match (Director's Edition)

YouTube currently has this video blocked worldwide due to the unabridged version of Round 3's mostly unedited use of Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave(1995). The full match as it was intended to be seen can be viewed on archive.org.
