Generated Media is media that is... generated by a program. This can be anything from solid colors to grids to advanced 3D fractal patterns. But what is important is that this is media that then can be used elsewhere.

Usage

Simply generate the media in your program of choice, then add it to your video. Most editors (like Vegas and Premiere) have ways to generate simple media in-house.

Types of Generated Media

As simple as it sounds, creates a solid color.

Grids

A grid.

Checkerboards

Checkerboard patterns.

Gradients

A smooth transition from one or more colors to another. Can either be linear (in a straight line) or radial (in a circular pattern).
