			'''gophrmann/cobalt72''' was a project by {{mrdoognoog}} from 2020 to 2022, riding on the wave of ARGs that had became popular during COVID. Initially starting as an anonymous alternate account for tennis dramatically different than what doog was known for, gophrmann quickly evolved into a much more than that, with videos taking on much darker themes that were connected by a storyline. Because of the storytelling nature of the channel, who got to play and how many could play was heavily restricted, much to the dismay of others.

			cobalt72 was another alt account tied to the gophrmann story, claiming to be a "friend". This was also, initially, done to play regular "alternate tennis" because gophrmann now had their own special personality that couldn't be easily changed. The "two" had a match together, with all titles being heavily ciphered in Base64. The final round was also 17 min<span class="plainlinks">[https://ytptennis.com/u.html u]</span>tes long, mostly of [[static]] and monochrome repetition of the previous round.

			The story ended in 2022 when the character of gophrmann was "found dead" after an accident while making a round. This was so convincing that many people believed it to be true, leading to much controversy at the time. As a result of this {{mrdoognoog}} pulled the plug on the story early, hastily concluding things and revealing the whole thing had been made up. Almost all videos on both channels were privated as well, "out of respect for the diseased"; however, this was reversed on the 2nd anniversary of the end of the channel in 2024.
