It was played as a part of the Set 2 lineup, with all three players having previously lost their respective matches; GnarpyFan4000 had lost to TheChutley, BortLoco had lost to TehShadzify, and RaymanChrome had lost to VidTens443 in Set 1. All three players were noted to be veterans of [[Missadaxio]], and thusly had previously tangibly interacted in a tennis setting previously.

Among a handful of matches to establish a private Discord chat for the purpose of match/player coordination, the match was incredibly "anarchistic" in nature, with all three players playing in a much more carefree nature of tennis that is rare in tournaments, let alone regular tennis. Out of the three {{ivan}} had the closest rounds to be what could be considered "traditional", though this could still be considered a stretch. Rounds would vary wildly in length and quality, sometimes not even noticeably using the previous round. The titles of each round have virtually no correlation to each other as well. A huge variety of sources are used throughout the match, including [[Tennis-Tennis|existing tennis rounds]]. {{slabsten}}'s serve uses the entire sign-on song for ''CityTV Toronto'' from the 70's-80's, edited very simply with random abrasive sound effects thrown throughout, similar to videos like [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNshRSyTOCg 333ajc's "ytp elf".] {{Ivan}}'s round 2 takes a musical approach, pairing edits to the ''Super Mario All Stars'' version of the World 6 theme from ''Super Mario Bros. 3''. A similar approach is done with {{Ivan}}'s round 8 as well. RaymanChrome's round 3 begins with a Plotagon scene venting Rayman's direct frustration of being put in a lineup that once again had him in a rematch with previous opponents. Meta-references were made to the tournament in multiple places, in particular the appearance of Jonathan Frakes (the host account of the tournament).

{{slabsten}}'s round 4 was released with a length of around ten seconds and used little if any of the previous round. When it was pointed out this would give him a penalty as the tournament rules enforce a 20 second round minimum, the original round was deleted and reuploaded at 50% speed to avoid this. {{Ivan}}'s round 5 and RaymanChrome's round 6 can be seen as the most "traditional" rounds of the match, with their styles being quite similar to their "regular" works at the time. This was not to last, however, with {{slabsten}}'s 15 minute long Round 7 defying all expectations with a visual assault of various memes, TV station indents/logos and cartoon clips. A notable repetition is the use of the "Gospel Chicken" ''Nickelodeon'' bumper (1993) throughout the round and the plotline of "Skidibi Meals". RaymanChrome's round 9, ending the match, was seen as a "bow out" from the tournament<ref>https://yellowtealpurple.net/forums/threads/set-2-gnarpyfan4000-v-bortloco-v-raymanchrome-done-vote.1235/post-17350</ref> done in an intentionally "childish" style with the previous round sped up to only a few seconds, edited to be unrecognizable, and otherwise largely obstructed by "the mario ꜱᴜᴘᴇʀ ᴍᴀʀɪᴏ"(2025), a completely different recently uploaded video of BortLoco's.

{{slabsten}} vs. BortLoco vs. RaymanChrome was played start to finish in only 12 days, making it the fastest match to complete in a tournament where matches took a month on average otherwise. It became an instant favorite with the [[Tennis Staff]], in particular {{dani}}, {{TheChutley}} and {{infinitysnapz}} who praised the complete disregard for norms set for the tournament up to that point. He was subsequently replaced by {{Yottifferent}}, who played well enough to eventually win the tournament itself.
