The match quickly became very popular and was quickly considered a favorite of the tournament. The winning player ended up being {{CheeChee}}, going on to play {{system128}} and {{nm41}} in set 3, the only 3 remaining players in bracket A. {{fiv95}} and {{TheChutley}} would go on to the B bracket, where {{fiv95}} would play yottifferent and TehShadzify while {{TheChutley}} would go on to play {{Brick}} and portaldash. {{CRJ1}}, who only contributed most of round 5, would go on to play {{Boundless}} and {{gabrielpika}}, taking the spot of {{Weegeesire}}.
