system128 vs. mrdoognoog was a tennis match that occurred from May 22 to June 28, 2021. It is the second meeting between the two players, with the two facing off in alternate serving order as part of mrdoognoog's "gophrmann" persona. The match took direct inspiration from the Tennis Cup 4 match between dew and corruptionsound as well as the Match Voting Tournament match between GameBop and Ravinrabbid123. The layout of each round follows a very similar format to the former match, where a "regular" sequence plays out for the first half while the second half is a pseudo-YTPMV. These latter sequences are one of the more well known of the match, with many of them containing the camel from the Perl logo dancing to the aforementioned song. Starting in round 2, there is also a continuing Multirender sequence that is added onto by each player.

One of the three matches of the final set (set five) of Match Voting Tournament 2, it also ended up winning the tournament, facing off against saper vs. hyk/captaingoosehead as well as Zekii vs. False Flesh. As mrdoognoog had also hosted MVT2, it marked the second time the tournament host had won their own tournament; the first coincidentally being the host of the first Match Voting Tournament, GameBop. The match was celebrated shortly after completion, with many tennis staff like infinitysnapz and calling it one of their favorite matches. However in recent times it has been acknowledged that the maximalist approach taken by both players ended up bringing upon an era of "trapezoidium", with many later matches adapting a similar style to this one. This approach to tennis as a whole in the following years led to matches in general taking much longer to complete and often much more complicated and show-offish in nature than necessary.
InProgress

The Missadaxio project, also known as the MR1K is a tennis match created by system128 in August 2018, in collaboration with Slabsten84 for early round production. Missadaxio was an early adopter of the "RxK" chain format, which takes the concept of an endless chain to the extreme, by contributing as many rounds as possible. It has been praised for being a "sandbox" for experimentation, as well as an "intermediate level" attracting newer players to the "traditional" tennis scene. Rounds are often produced very quickly and on a tight schedule. Mass archival efforts from members of the community also are prevalent. Some players also have historically criticized it for having lower standards compared to most chains on what rounds are considered part of the match.

Despite this, the Missadaxio channel would go on to break multiple tennis records, the most well known being the record for the tennis match with more rounds than any other, currently sitting with a count of over 12,000, being built up over several years. The MR1K also has the most participants in one tennis match, with a whopping 158 members of the tennis community.

The MR1K is disguised as a "self-match" on the basis that it is contained within the confines of the Missadaxio channel, despite it technically being a chain with multiple participants. This is a remnant of the predecessor project "Mricencycl" which was displayed in the same manner.

While Missadaxio does not have an official match page like other traditional matches, all of its information (including participants, round info, and metadata) has instead been put into a google spreadsheet. It can be found here.

Etymology
The Missadaxio channel name was generated randomly using the website, SpinXO.

MR1K follows the usual RxK naming format where extra letters or glyphs are put at the beginning of the title and "R1K" being the ultimate goal point for round count, which in this case, is 1,000.

Participants
Over 200 people have contributed to Missadaxio in some way. However there is also a "crew" of creators that are listed on the channel who have substantially more contributions than others. These are:
Other contributors, who often only make a round or two, have their works known as "guest rounds".

History
Mricencycl
Before Missadaxio, early members of the project were involved in a predecessor channel named "Mricencycl", which aimed for more or less the same ultimate goal that Missadaxio did, to reach 1,000 rounds and beyond. This match was just called the "R1K", which lasted from December 16, 2017 to July of 2018. Mricencycl was ill-fated after someone used the credentials to remove all of the videos on the channels, rendering the original R1K at failure at 388 rounds. An incomplete archive of these rounds can be found here.

Missadaxio began as a revival of the original R1K project between system128 and Slabsten84, with the former creating and uploading the serve to the channel on August 5, 2018.
<youtube>UlkWCBmoB74</youtube>

- The MR1K would reach 100 rounds on February 2, 2019.

<youtube>YL57UjTQOe8</youtube>

- The first guest appearance happened on round 234 with mrdoognoog making a round on May 20, 2020.

<youtube>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snPTKiEBEEU</youtube>

- The MR1K would reach the original goal of 1,000 rounds on September 22, 2020. This match also became the first of multiple four-figure-rounded matches.

<youtube>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzn4skBkCoA</youtube>

- The MR1K would reach round 10,000 on December 26, 2023. The MR1K is the only match to have a round count with five digits. The round is also 3 hours long!

Over 150 people have contributed to Missadaxio in some way. However there is also a "crew" of creators that are listed on the channel who have substantially more contributions than others. These are:

-system128

Want to learn how to play tennis? Then you've come to the right place! This quick-start guide will teach you everything you need to know. This will lead you though producing a simple 1v1 6-round tennis "vanilla" match with a partner.

Let's say you're a brand new player with no prior works and no prior knowledge of tennis. Here's the basic guide to get you through a full match. This guide assumes you have a PC/Laptop, however it is completely possible to create tennis videos with a modern smartphone or tablet.

Starting a Match
A Match is the formal name for a tennis project. To start a match, there are two things you can do:
* Ask around the community to see if someone wants to play. This is more common when you are more established as a player, as people know what they are getting into if you already have videos to share! This technique can also allow you set rules and guidelines for how the match should play out before anything gets made.
* Create a serve, then see if anyone wants it. A serve is the first round of a tennis match. This is a better idea for new players, as it helps them break into the scene. However, if you're just looking for some fun, you can always start something out of the blue and see who bites!

For this scenario, you decide that make a serve first, and then ask around once it's done.

Gathering Material
You now need to get the material you want to put into your video! There are tons of ways to do this:
* Using a video downloader, like youtube-dl or JDownloader (easiest)
* Ripping/Burning Content from CDs and DVDs, or even VHS
* Using a screen recorder, like OBS
* If you're especially daring, record footage yourself with a camera

See the respective articles for instructions on any of these methods. Most serves only start with a few sources, but you can have as many sources as you want!

Selecting an Editor
This is often the most daunting task. Knowing an editor is very important for making a solid video, but we all have to start from somewhere.

The most common point of entry for tennis is through Vegas. This remains the most common editor on PC, however there are many, many more! Premiere Pro is another popular option, but may be a bit expensive (and hard to crack, if you're willing).

Common editors for mobile devices include KineMaster and CapCut, among many others that can found on the App Store and/or the Google Play Store.

Editing the Video
This is the fun part! Use the editor you selected to create whatever you want. Here are some guidelines to get started:
* The average tennis round is approximately 1 to 3 minutes. Serves tend to be a bit shorter, often around 30 to 90 seconds.
* Keep things simple. Part of the fun of tennis is seeing how chaotic things get towards the end. However, especially with less experienced players, starting too strong can can be overwhelming! Let things build up naturally.
* Looking for inspiration? Try watching other works, or even other YTPs! Other common sources of inspiration have come from movies/TV, demoscenes, art pieces, and more.
* Build things in a way that makes it easier for your opponent to respond to. It doesn't matter exactly how, as long as they can think of something to do with your work. The fun of tennis comes from the communication!
* See The list of Techniques for many of the common types of edits that people do.

You can follow as many or as few of this guidelines as you want. As long as you can complete a video, you're golden!

Initiating the Match
You now have a video to share with the world. Almost all tennis activity happens on YouTube (Hence the 'Y' in YTP), so it'd be a good place to upload there.
Most descriptions go like this:

<blockquote>
Round X vs. player

(some notes about the round)

Sources Used:
(a list of all the sources you used)
</blockquote>

Having a source list is optional, but can be helpful for your opponent to know what you used, as they can more easily build off what you started. It also is useful for the viewers, as not everyone is perfectly versed in every piece of media in existence! You don't want comments of "what did you use at 0:35?" popping up all the time.

Now that the serve is out there, you need to find someone to play. The two largest tennis hubs are YellowTealPurple (a forum website) and The Tennis Isles (a discord server). There's much more than this, however!

Follow the examples of others on how to advertise your own round, and wait for someone to accept! It may take a little while.

Continuing the Match
Someone said yes! Now a match can begin.

Give your opponent a few days to make their response. It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months! The sweet spot is for both of you to pass the next video within a turnover of about 3 to days. This not only gives you time to recover your creative juices, but also stops you from losing interest in the match, slowing things down or making it fall apart altogether!

Eventually, your opponent responds with their round 2 - also known as a volley (as with all other rounds that aren't the serve). The pattern remains the same as before:
* Download your opponents round and pop it into your editor of choice
* Add new sources (if you want)
* Unlike the serve, this new round is now your primary source. Try to edit as much of it as possible!
* Upload your new round and repeat!

Conclusion
Eventually, we have made it to six rounds, which is generally the stopping point for an average tennis match. You say words of congratulations to your opponent, and they do the same. Remember - there isn't a competition here. "Nobody wins at tennis, ever!" (Except in tournaments, but still, that's nothing more than bragging rights!)

With your first match complete, there are a few more things you can do:
* Set up a roster - this shows all the games you've played, their progress, links to watch, a wishlist, and anything else you'd want. A template can be found here (WHEN I MAKE IT).
* Start another game! What's the fun of only doing one? You could do another 6 round 1v1, or maybe shake it up a little! See List of Tennis Types for some common variants.

With that, you are done. Hopefully this gives you enough to get started. So get out there and make some cool stuff!

A Self Tennis is a match with only one person. These can be any other type of tennis, but only one person is involved.

Many of these projects are often Endurance Matches.

Layout
Self tennis matches are relatively simple; from the perspective of a 1v1, you are both players! So everything you build you end up responding to.
* The serve is made like normal.
* Round 2 is made by you, using the rendered video.
* And so on, as far as you like.

Stub

The Missadaxio project, also known as the MR1K is a YTP Tennis match created by system128 in August 2018, in collaboration with Slabsten84 for early round production. Missadaxio was an early adopter of the "RxK" chain format, which takes the concept of an endless chain to the extreme, by contributing as many rounds as possible. It has been praised for being a "sandbox" for experimentation and being an attraction for newer players to the YTP Tennis scene. Other perks include its participants working fast to further its round count, and mass archival efforts from members of the community. Some players also have historically criticized it for having lower standards compared to most chains on what rounds are considered part of the match.

Despite this, the Missadaxio channel would go on to break multiple YTP Tennis records, the most well known being the record for the YTP Tennis match with more rounds than any other, currently sitting with a count of over 11,000, being built up over several years. The MR1K also has the most participants in one tennis match, with a whopping 158 members of the YTP Tennis community.

The MR1K is disguised as a "self-match" on the basis that it is contained within the confines of the Missadaxio channel, despite it technically being a chain with multiple participants. This is a remnant of the predecessor project "Mricencycl" which was displayed in the same manner.

Etymology
The Missadaxio channel name was generated randomly using the website, SpinXO.

MR1K follows the usual RxK naming format where extra letters or glyphs are put at the beginning of the title and "R1K" being the ultimate goal point for round count, which in this case, is 1,000.

History
Before Missadaxio, early members of the project were involved in a predecessor channel named "Mricencycl," which aimed for more or less the same ultimate goal that Missadaxio did, to reach 1,000 rounds and beyond. This match was just called the "R1K", which lasted from December 16, 2017 to July of 2018. Mricencycl was ill-fated after someone used the credentials to remove all of the videos on the channels, rendering the original R1K at failure at 388 rounds. The MR1K match began as a revival of the original R1K project between system128 and Slabsten84, with the former creating and uploading the serve to the channel on August 5, 2018.

Notable Rounds
The MR1K would reach 100 rounds on February 2, 2019.
The first guest appearance happened on round 234 with mrdoognoog making a round on May 20, 2020.
The MR1K would reach the original goal of 1,000 rounds on September 22, 2020. This match also became the first of multiple four-figure-rounded matches.
The MR1K would reach round 10,000 on December 26, 2023. The MR1K is the only match to have a round count with five digits.

<blockquote>
Round X vs. player

(some notes about the round)

Sources Used:
(a list of all the sources you used)
</blockquote>

The two largest tennis hubs are Ytpmania (a forum website) and The Tennis Isles (a discord server).
