vs. InsinerateHymn was a YouTube Poop/Video tennis match that took place on the "vanilla" YouChew forums between October 29 and November 1, 2007. Due to both the match's original thread and it's subsequent review by RabbitSnore, it was known erroneously for years as InsinerateHymn vs. PukingCuberman, implying the volleying order was switched from its actual iteration. With both players using Windows Movie Maker, it was the first match to be played by both PukingCyberman and InsinerateHymn, and the only tennis match ever played in the case of the former player. It holds the distinction of being the first in a block of three matches to recieve a review from RabbitSnore in his inaugural issue of the "Tennis Weekly Review" on the early YouChew forums, alongside GameCubeHero vs. Intenseowl(2007) and Furnessly vs. MrDrunkenFox(2007). Unlike his reviews for the other two matches however, his review for this match was considerably critical due to things progressing little across rounds, and was most unfavorable towards InsinerateHymn's apparently very minimal and non-distinct approach.  His closing consensus was thus:

PukingCyberman vs. PukingCyberman, implying the volleying order was switched from its actual iteration. Sources added include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, Robot Chicken, the 2007 slate of Volvic commercials, a commercial for Eternal Sonata(PS3, 2007), the Ghostbusters animated series, standup footage of George Carlin in the 1970s, a Jello Pudding Pop commercial featuring Bill Cosby, Link: The Faces of Evil(CD-i, 1993), Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon(CD-i, 1993), The Amazing Screw-On Head(2006), "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, and "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson.

"There was not much publicity for this match, and I can see why. It was between two hardly-known [creators], but even that has the potential for excellent [YTP]. The unfortunate part of this match was that for me the decision was clear who was the better [creator]: PukingCyberman made use of decent effects, slow-down, speed-up, sentence edits… He experimented, and it showed. But the entire match suffered from a lack of originality. I’d recommend that these [creators] strive to overcome lazy editing. Poop should be about weirdness and originality. This match lacked the destructiveness that is characteristic of a good [YTP] tennis match; the point is to make a [round] that is difficult to respond to, not make a regurgitated series of nearly identical [rounds] that slowly evolve."

Rabbit would subsequently apologize for his "rough review" of this match, adding "I did enjoy the fifth round, if that's any consolation." InsinerateHymn deleted his channel in early 2010, but made his entire tennis output downloadable in their original hard copies via a mediafire link posted to the YouChew forums shortly thereafter; it is unknown if anyone past or present in the community ever downloaded that archive and the link has since become lost, leaving most of InsinerateHymn's tennis work in a similar state. PukingCyberman's rounds continue to survive on YouTube as of January 2026.
